How HRHome makes money
We believe in being upfront. Here's exactly how we're compensated — so you can evaluate our advice knowing where our incentives come from.
Transparency about compensation is unusual in real estate. Most services bury fees in fine print or let you discover them at closing. We'd rather just explain it upfront — because when you understand how we earn, you can trust that the advice we give you is honest.
You never pay us anything
Homeowners pay zero to use HRHome. There are no consultation fees, no referral fees that come out of your proceeds, and no hidden charges at closing. Getting a review and exploring your options is completely free.
Investor partner fees
When a vetted cash buyer or investor purchases a home through our platform, we receive a fee from that buyer — not from you. The buyer has already priced this into their offer. This is similar to how a marketplace earns from the business side, not the consumer side.
Assignment and wholesale opportunities
In some transactions, HRHome may participate in an assignment where we connect a seller to an end buyer through a contract assignment. In these cases, we earn an assignment fee from the transaction — again, funded by the investment side, not the seller.
Listing referrals
When a traditional listing with a real estate agent is clearly the better path for a homeowner, we say so — and we may refer them to a trusted local agent. In those cases, we may receive a standard referral fee from the agent if a sale closes. This never affects the advice we give you about which path is right.
Why this matters to you
Because we're paid by buyers and partners — not by homeowners — we have no incentive to push you toward a cash sale if listing would put more money in your pocket. Our reputation is built on giving honest assessments. Homeowners who feel they got a fair, transparent process are the foundation of this business.
